Hooray!! Our Bear Doll pattern is finally complete and for sale in our shop. Meet Buzz and Bea!
This cuddly pair is the first in our new “Cuddly Critter Dolls” collection!

We wanted to create a series of stuffed animals that was made on the sewing machine, and that would be really great for young kids to hug and cuddle with. We tried to capture the essence of a child’s favorite cuddly toy, that they can take with them anywhere, and love until it’s well worn.

It took us quite awhile to get our design just right (we had hoped to release it in April or May, haha!), and there was a lot of trial and error, but in the end, we are really happy with the final look!

To celebrate their arrival, we are offering a $2 off discount for its first few days on sale.

We have not posted anything in quite awhile, and it may seem like we aren’t doing any designing…. but behind the scenes we have been hard at work! We’ve been creating a new teddy bear pattern that is made on the sewing machine!!

It’s taken us quite awhile to wrap this one up, but we are finally almost done with this pattern, and we’re in the final stages of editing. And we wanted to give you all a sneak peek of what the pattern looks like! Hope you all like it!!

This project takes about two weeks, so if you want these grass-filled teacups to be ready for your Easter table, it would be best to get started soon! Gordon the Goldfinch is the 6th pattern in our Backyard Bird Collection. Gordon is designed after a male American goldfinch. The goldfinch happens to be our state bird here in Washington State, and is also the state bird of Iowa and New Jersey. We get them at our feeders in our yard in the summer, and it’s so fun to see their beautiful bright yellow color! We hope you enjoy our version of this lovely bird!

Backyard Birds: Benson the Bluebird

Benson the Bluebird is the 5th pattern in our Backyard Bird Collection. Benson is fashioned after the eastern bluebird, which as their name implies, live in the eastern half of North America. They look quite similar to the western bluebird, but western bluebirds often have more orange rust color on their back and wings and more blue on their throat. Other than that though, it is tricky to distinguish between the two. We hope you like how Benson turned out!
