Cedar Waxwing
We definitely want to return to the "Backyard Birds" collection next, as we love birds and know that a lot of you out there do too! We will probably do a cedar waxwing because I love them and was feeling inspired to give it a try. We also had mentioned we were considering an oriole or house sparrow, and those will certainly be on our to-do list as well. And my mom has been playing around with some lovely bird designs for embroidery patterns as well!
We do hope to have the next pattern out much sooner than the time it took us to finish the hedgehog, but of course you never can tell how much time you will get to work on things when you live with a toddler, haha!
And another little bit of special news around here..... I am excepting my second little bundle of joy, due this coming spring! We are very happy and excited, but of course it has slowed down my pace a little bit. As many an expectant mom knows, energy is harder to come by, especially with an active toddler in the house!! So just know that we are still working away behind the scenes, but things are just moving a bit slower for us.
